Mind you, you're in the clear 'cos your manager was doing it too and they are in charge of you (i'm guessing)!

Go tell the Directot to 'STICK THEIR FREAKIN' JOB WHERE THE SUN DON'T SHINE!!'

Totally fair ... after all he is a director, he directs and controls the business that actually pays your wages and, if he is good at his job, will be paying your wages for some time. Rollerblading is not making his business succeed, even if it does make a happy workforce, and should be viewed as such. He was totally right in telling you off ....... that is his job ..... your job is to help him make the business a success. You have treated it as playtime, haven't you? Realise a responsible attitutude to your working life and stop throwing your toys out of the pram!

Rollerblading around an office? It may have been fun at the time but it could be disastrous. One thing you and your manager will need to consider is the safety of the other workers as well as yourselves. . Was rollerblading around the office dangerous? Was anyone in danger of getting hurt while you were careering around the office? I think your Director was considering the safety of his staff and the equipment when he told you two off.

My experience in Workplace Health and Safety has lead me to believe you were lucky not to have been dismissed.

Surely there are other safer ways to have fun during office hours.

Cool, I fancied doing that for my last job as I was always on my feet going from one office to the next.
If your manager was doing it then only he/she should get told off as they should know better. Unfair though.

Did it tell you off cos it was unsafe? Or cos he's boring? Maybe you should offer to let him have a go and then he might cheer up!
