Hai man , don't you know , people still lived when there was no Internet. At that times crimes were even less. You know, it is after globalisation, internet came. It brought somany dis advantages and advantages too. If net was not there how will we contact now?
But there is one thing. If net was not there, we should have found something better than this. Something which much useful than this. So as we have the opportunity to use net, my only suggetion is that we should use it in a good manner.
Thank you for reding my answer.

There were these big sets of books - real books, not e-books, called encyclopedias, and people went to the library and looked in them when they needed information. Some people even bought encyclopedias, they were very expensive and those who owned a set were quite proud of it. They also used other books like dictionaries, it helped them learn how to spell. Back then, if you were curious about something, sometimes there was no way to find out! People actually walked around not knowing things like what Brad and Angelina named their baby! Can you imagine? And I won't even go into how difficult it was to communicate. Ugh, you had to write letters, and make phone calls, and often actually talk face-to-face. It made it difficult to be rude, because you ran the risk of real retaliation. Everyone was isolated and an overwhelming sense of loneliness pervaded society. We longed to engage in flame wars with complete strangers, download mp3s and play video games online, but alas, the technology just wasn't there. It was horrible, just horrible. You're lucky to have missed it ;-)

I spent a lot more time at the library.
I wrote a lot more letters...on paper...using a typewriter.
I watched a lot more television.
I had no idea there were so many idiots around the country and the world.
I spent more time browsing for merchandise in stores instead of searching online for what I want.
I had to wait for the evening news to get a complete weather forecast.
I believed a lot more "urban myths" before there was snopes.com.
Tracing my family history was a whole lot more difficult and time consuming.
Did I mention that I had no idea there were so many idiots?

What?! There used to not be an internet!?! Holy shiznits batman!
Naw... they just didn't know as much as we do and they also didn't have those hard questions in school that we somehow are learning today. Plus they didn't have other things to worry about like viruses and losing data. They kept everything in paper format.
Then again, businesses didn't develop as fast either because there wasn't a fast way to send large amounts of data and ads to everyone at once.

If there was no internet, I wouldn't have been reading and answering questions.
I'd have to go to a library if i needed any information.
I'd have spent more time reading, watching T.V, playing, talking rather than chatting on messenger.
Lots of things would be different. I can't imagine our world without internet. :)

am presuming that u are asking " what happened when there was no internet"....
we led a very different life to that of the youth of today. we enjoyed the outdoors more, we conversed more, read more, interacted with real people more.
now if your question is "what will happen if there is no internet" .....
can safely tell u life right now will come to a stand still!

The internet was always there, the past didn't exist, we only remember a time that there wasn't internet, but no one can tell for sure????
It is because technology is advancing at such an incredible rate that we think that there wasn't internet.

Before internet, there was BBS's, Fidonet, Arpanet, and such. Communication through computers has been around almost since they were invented. Even through teletypes when the typewriter was used and connected through lines before common computer use.
