Using condom has nothing to do with your girl friend being virgin. You can have sex even without a virgin; however you may want to look at certain things:
1) To avoid pregnancy
2) To avoid any infection or aids (shouldn't be a problem if your gf is HIV negative)

Since she is a virgin it might be little difficult for you to intercourse few times in the begining. You can try using some kind of lubrication (gels) which are available in all medical stores.

Take care

100% use a condom. Despite the saying that babies are a precious miracle, it is one easy miracle to make, and can happen the first time or 2nd or 3rd.. The whole reason for sexual intercourse in all animals is reproduction. Fortunately for us humans, we also enjoy it as a recreational and emotional activity. Make sure you think of her first. If you have not done any "exploring" of each other without intercourse, you ought to think about it. "Heavy petting" as it was called when I was younger, was a great way to enjoy each other and begin to sexually experience each other without the physical or emotional risks that come with actual intercourse. Get naked and play with each other's bodies, with the joint committment to not penetrate. Hell, you might even get each other off, and that's cool too. If she's never seen your dick, or another guy's (and some girls haven't) she has no idea what to do with it or what it can do. Vice Versa-if you haven't really seen a vagina up close and personal, you need to do that before you start sticking things in it.

And for the one who wrote about "pulling out in time" NEVER NEVER NEVER use withdrawal as a method of birth control. First of all, it ruins the moment of release as you join together as one, instead of spraying awkwardly all over her and making a mess.
Second, most guys leak out lubricating fluid before ejaculation, some do a whole lot (often the bulk of the wet dream spots). The lubricating fluid can, and often does include sperm that are ready and willing to start their long swim to a waiting egg.
Third-if you have never had sex for the first time, you shouldn't have to worry about hoping you can pull out when your body wants to finish the job. Your first time should be special, something you really enjoy and relish later, and you should definitely make it something special for your girlfriend.

1 in 3 sexually active teens has HERPES. Approximately 50% of the sexually active population has Human Papiloma Virus (HPV), also known as genital warts. Then there is Chlamydia, Pelvic Inflammatory Disease, Syphilis, HIV/AIDS, Gonorrhea, and that's not even all of the STDs you could catch, AND, condoms do not protect well for herpes or HPV, and are not 100% for the other stuff either. Oh yeah, and then there's the babies.

Don't have sex unless you are ready for those consequences. Sh!t happens no matter how much you protect yourself against it. I believe your best bet is abstinence until you are married.

Unless you plan on zipping her in the rear, and you are CERTAIN it is both of your first times, and you don't mind getting "it" a little dirty - you sure as hell better use a condom...

Your thoughts on the idea are dangerous however, the fact that you are even considering condom free sex means you might be in for a dangerous future full of disease and children. Be careful - play safe, stay alive!

I will spare you the lecture on the sensibility of waiting until you are older....but since you are at least intelligent enough to be concerned about protection, you deserve a non-judgmental answer.

ABSOLUTELY!! No matter what the circimstances are, first time or tenth time, ALWAYS use a condom! ALWAYS!!!!

for the first time, try to put on the condom, just in case you can't pull out in time. i presume both of you have no plan to have a child yet.
