Yes this is very possible due to courtesy of Yahoo team! This is what you have to do.
- Login to your Yahoo mail
- Click on the “Options” link in the top-right corner
- Then go to “Mail address” under the “Management” category. You’ll find this in the middle of thee page.
- Click the “Add” button, read the instructions and continue the process
You have to know the POP configurations from the other mail server if you want to get this done.

Not with a free email server usually.
If you have a paid one there is often a facility for doing this with other email accounts with exactly the same name. ie john.smith rather than jsmith, johnsmith, johnnyboy etc.

If's it's a POP server you can -- Yahoo! Mail gives you instructions.

You may have to upgrade to a fee-based Yahoo! account, depending what you are trying to do.
