After many trips to the Canaries, I cant answer this question. It's like which of your child's il the most beautiful...
All islands have different characters : volcanic for Fuertevenura and Lanzarote without to much green. Gran Canaria is proud for his five continents on one island, but like the "desert" near Maspolas some of this continents can be very small. Teneriffe has the Teide and the surrounding Park as a real highlight. And you can choose between hot and dry (Teneriffe south) or green forests and some rain (Teneriffe nord).
My tip : take a few years and visit the islands one by one, not missing the small ones like Gomera (in a day trip from the main islands).
A last tip, even if technically it is not part of the Canaries : consider a visit of Madeira (belongs to Portugal).

All the islands can be brilliant for couples so long as you stay away from the normal group haunts like playa de las americas, tenerife where partying tends to take priority. All of the islands are unique and you should discover which suits your own personal interests/needs. Lanzarote is amazing for the volcanic scenary and the volcanoe park - gorgeous restaurant there as well - this is my personal favourite.

Fueterventura...without a doubt.
They have beautiful beaches and are pretty much free from the British yobs who go around getting drunk and fighting on the other islands in the Canaries.
Depending on what part of the island you stay on, I would go so far as to say it can be a quiet and relaxing holiday with some culture and a bit of island romance !!

I've been to them all and enjoyed them all and i am going to puerto rico in Feb (Gran Caneria)
But we have been to Tenerife the most, depends what you want, In Tenerife its like being in England but you have the sun.
I would recommend los Christianos Tenerife, and if you want something more lively las Americas is just a taxi ride away.

I don't know but you can look at individual islands and the Official Islands Tourism site which should assist.
