You can be worth millions and be considered rich. But to be wealthy means your rich with old money like the Hiltons or the Onassis. With all the money Oprah Winfrey and Bill Gates have they are not considered wealthy.

A person who is rich finanically is someone who would have around 3 to 6 million dollars- that is, they have more money than they can reasonably spend in their lifetimes.

Then theres "Filthy Rich"= people who are so rich they just play the game because they can.
