8 - 4 = 5
5 + 4 = 9
9-1= 8
so there is no sense
the only logical i have found is this
8+5 = 13
4+9 = 13
1+12 = 13
so 12 could be next,
and there are two reason , every second letter is divided by 2, while the one that is beside is not,
and as you can see if you add numbers in pairs you will always get 13.
