often, just to break the rules that were mentioned above; kids tend to be rebellious (often in small matters, as they haven't control of larger ones). altogether, however, short skirts are generally considered, "sexier", or more fashionable. that's about all there is to it.

if guys really wanted to rid of the hoe-y looking type...why don't you all bash them insead of looking up the skirt , some girls like the attention that guys give them .....

i went to catholic school where girls had to wear skirts, and, hate to break it to you but you weren't allowed to wear a skirt that was short!!!! You've been watching too much tv and strippers and britney spears videos.
