Namely, 18 days after the first day of my cycle i had an intercourse, on the day marked on my ovulation calendar as the last fertile day in the cycle. i have no idea how, but the day 17 was marked as ovulation day. As soon as I woke up the following morning I felt sick, had pain in my ovaries and it's been 5 days since my body temperature is slightly raised, and there is also this breast tenderness. i am famous for being in panic most of the time, so i'm asking: is it possible to have these symptoms immediately after.it is too early for the test and im going insane. also, i just pray this is PMS.........aaaaaaargh

I don't care what anyone else says....I've always had pregnancy symptoms about a week after I got pregnant. Ovulation takes place 10-12 days after the first day of your period....not 18....so I don't get where you go that from. That actually gives you a 3-5 day window b/c sperm can stay alive inside of you from 48 to 72 hours. Did you have sex during this time? B/c that would make it about right for you to start having symptoms. If you are very in tune with your body, it is very possible, so don't eliminate pregnancy.

I know it's very frustrating b/c it's too early to take a pregnancy test. Try to not think about it. Observe what other symptoms you have. Do you feel sluggish and tired? More hungry than usual? Does your sense of smell seem to have gone super sonic? Do your breasts steadily ache, or does it stop within a few days? If the pain stops within a few days, it's probably PMS. If it doesn't....you're more than likely pregnant.

Hope this helps. And if you get too frustrated with waiting....make a doctor's appointment to have a blood test done. A blood test will be able to detect pregnancy up to 7 days after implantation.

it is possible because fertilization can occur a few days before and about a day or two after ovulation. you may also just have the jitters. some of these symptoms can occur during PMS time, but unless they have happened before it is unlikely they are due to PMS. And yes they are to early for those symptoms for pregnancy. Beware, the mind is a powerful thing. don't stress yourself out and be late fro your period because you are stressed. good luck.

It's possible, but highly unlikely.

Wait a little longer and if you don't get your period, take a pregnancy test.

Also, tracking your cycle is NOT an effective form of birth control. You should be on the pill or use condoms if you want better control over pregnancy prevention.

Settle down, sweetheart. Live life for a couple weeks, don't obsess about every "symptom" and re-test. A couple weeks after that, visit your OB. By then, you will have probably had a period. and if not, guess what? You 're probably knocked up. So, why did you have unprotected sex, anyway?

no you dont get these symptoms straight away... you usually start to get these feelings at least a few weeks after getting pregnant... is it possible that you got pregnant awhile ago? otherwise it could simply be phantom pregnancy, or as you said just pms

If you're this scared that you might be pregnant, why not use a more reliable form of birth control? Don't say you're Catholic, either. A good Catholic wouldn't have sex before marriage.
