Homeless or naked? Actually it's much worse. The turtle would be dead. A turtle's shell is an integral part of its skeleton. Its vertebrae are actually fused to the shell. A turtle can't be removed from its shell without dying.

No it'd be dead. Shells are part of a turtle's skeleton and protect it's vital organs. Since it's connected to them, turtles cant just crawl out of their shells like in the cartoons.

Turtles do not have "shells" - they have a carapace. If that is what you are referring to then:
Not homeless or naked or funny or an original question.
The turtle would simply be dead.

Dead - the interal organs of the turtle is attached to the shell so if they come out of the shell it also looses its squishy parts.

Actually the turtle is born with its shell and grows along with it.
The only way for the turtle to be stripped of its shell would be for it to be killed. That's illegal where I come from because turtles are protected.

Well it would be naked whether it is inside or outside its shell...prolly prancing around nude whilst in the shell....so I would say it would more properly be referred to as being Homeless.

OMG I TOTALLY ASKED THIS QUESTION.
the best answer i got was was hes a nekkid homeless turtle. next time dont steal my questions. or look up "stupid questions" on yahoo to try to find things to ask.

Wouldn't the logical answer be "both"? I also think it would be called "easy prey" for most animals.
