I was assisted this evening in the DVD store - a young man helped me to locate "Cool Hand Luke"

A group of mates and I all went out last Friday.... We sort of assisted each other up the steps from the bar - does that count!!?? lol!
If not, I was assisted by the guy at the petrol station when I went to get my tyres pumped up, but that wasn't nearly so interesting!

My mother-in-law assisted me in a search for a diamond earring that i lost in a tomato fight at work! Every Sunday the fruit and veg stall on the market in front of us gives us cratefuls of fruit and veg that they can't sell the next day. We use them (select the good ones from the crates) and make jams and cakes etc with them.
Well last Sunday we were given about 30 crates of tomatoes, so we used the good ones and organized a tomato fight behind our bakery and the neighbors came along too! It was hilarious, but my partner got me on the side of the face with one from a distance and my earring popped out. I was gutted because it was a birthday present and was my favorite pair.
My mother-in-law rummaged through the dirt and rotten tomatoes with me in search of it, but sadly we didn't find it.
