...but I enjoy hearing other people's nostalgic stories from high school/secondary school. Can you tell me one please? I would really appreciate it.

My best friend's mother was a dispatcher for the police. We used to visit her at work, and one day Laura distracted her mother while I stole a roll of that "Crime Scene - Do Not Cross" tape. That night we blocked all the entrances to our high school off with the tape. It took the school two hours the next morning to confirm it was a hoax and not a real crime scene while all the students just hung out on the lawn outside. That was the best day ever.

I love your wonderful words big lame-o. So I will tell you a story from when I went to highschool way back in the day! Once I knew this guy that I went to highschool home ec class with who was a REALLY smart brained person and he was kinda crazy about his wanting to do creative writing as he was a drama kid. Little did I know that his manic like fixation on writing could have been a clue to something bigger. One day in class we get to talking about the usuall highscool b.s. because we sat next to each other and I notice his name. His name is Hy. I decided to quietly make a joke about his name to him in a way that he could hopefully laugh about it and the joke at least had him amused because laugh he certainly did. I basically asked him in a staged vocal tone of uncertianty if he was Hy. I also thought he might have appreciated the joke because it seemed to me that some teachers at our school too even avoided saying his name. The downside to that joke is that.. the last I had seen of that dude in school he was out crying to anyone and everyone in the school that he wanted to go get high because he is Hy to the point of wich some of his more upstanding peers wanted to totally kick his butt. I guess tthat that guy was kinda prone to be sucked into these whims of influence no matter how indirectly some of the sources pull had appeared. It was only later that I heard the guy was on medication to temper his suggestablity. I had tried to convince him to actually not to do any drugs before we parted ways but he said that he was bound to make that choice totally by himself no matter what I thought and that he was so determined to to drugs that he was willing to turn his back on his mother for his choice if he had to. He told me that his mom would totally disown him if he did go through with his plans but he still seemed determined so I sighed and never had seen that dude again because it was just before the year before I decided I needed to drop out or leave school. I still hope that the dude named Hy is somewhere out there and is doing just fine. The end.

What a fun question. I hope you get some enjoyable stories. When i am asked where i went to high school, I always have a story to go along with the location.....well,my family moved alot when i was growing up. Every couple of years my dad would get a promotion or transfer , They always involved packing up and moving to a new state. In the middle of my 8th grade we moved from Minnesota to Illinois . my oldest sister and brother stayed in Minnesota because they were both attending the UofM ended up loving Illinois. we had moved to a great town with a great high school that sits atop a hill with a lake behind it. the school had great tradition like its strong athletic and academics. It was all great, My senior year would be great, I was going to be the first in our family to graduate from the same high school that i started in ninth grade. until the end of November of my senior year when my dad announced we were moving from Glen Ellen ,IL. to Dana Point, ca. From the ''halls of ivory'' to '' surfs up''!' dude'. well that's my story . thanks for asking.

We used to go through a really long tunnel, on the train, on the way home from school. We used to unscrew the lightbulbs, place a 2p coin on it and screw it back up.
It used to short the lights out along the whole train.
3 mins of pitch black - scary stuff !

I remember stealing a pen from my best mate and telling him that the school nerd did it. My mate beat the hell out of the guy!! When I think about it now, perhaps it wasn't the nicest thing to do, but I still laugh about it!

When I was little and all sweet and innocent (I was about 5) I used to ask people for their watches, or when I went to peoples houses ask to look at their clocks etc. Then leg it upto the toilet as fast as possible and flush them away.

Obviously I was ment to join the bomb squad or something.
