I've worked in building were elevators ar a most, these extremily tall building always made me wonder if their's faster way out. It doesn' seem like people put fire escapes out side any more on even lower buildings.
When you're leaving work you can't wait to get out and if the elevator is the only fast way out, well I wondered while waiting for the elevator. Why don't we have slide!
Couldn't they make a building with at least an emergency exit slide, or aseries of slides? You just slide out the building, kinda like the theme park rides.... what do you think? Can it be done, has it been done? It'd be much faster.

Thats an AWESOME idea. But it would really have to be well done to be a slide inside the building. If fireman have poles as a fast exit sure why not use sprial slide out.
