I was bullied at work then let down by the (so - called) union.

but it doesn't stop there of course ...this was following the death of the girl in my life.
Then my life was threatened in a house
share, so i have had no home for er 6 years now. and counting.

A girlfriend lied that she was pregnant with my baby. She strung it along for as long as she could then also lied that she had mis-carried. I found out when she called me to say she'd gone into hospital and I raced there only to find that they had no admission records for her whatsoever.
What really hurt was that she'd watched be tear my life apart to take responsibility (I quit school to get a job stacking shelves in a supermarket to support 'my family'). I can't complain that much though as I'm really happy with how my life has turned out though. I left the supermarket for a better job and now I'm married with a REAL baby on the way, we own a nice big house (no mean feat these days - we're 25 & 26) have a nice car etc.
Here's the ten-pointer though. The girl has been with my brother now for several years. My brother doesn't like to work, so he's spent much of that time on the dole. They live in a council flat in a run-down area.
The strange thing is that I get on quite well with her now. It's painfully obvious that she's green with envy over the lifestyle that my wife and I have, she's really desperate to have a baby. Although I thought for years that I would revel in the 'payback', bygones are bygones. I've seen that she has changed and want for her & my brother to be happy and get the things they want in life.
Christ, I put some deep stuff on here!!!

my so called mother walked out on me and my dad when i was 14 to run off with her toyboy . 18 years on i still havent spoken to her even though she lives round the corner from me she wont show any signs of recognition towards me, although personally i dont want to know. I have had to have counselling to get over the rejection thing, and it caused a lot of insecurity issues when i started having boyfriends, i was terrified they would leave me. i stayed single for 10years as i couldnt deal with rejection, in now settled down and happy. Hope you find happiness too sweetie x x x x x x

Sorry for everyone's troubles.
Why is this question under "careers and employment" ?Because the bad thing happened at work? Did you want people to limit their answers to the workplace?
My boss lied about my experience to a prospective employer. Actually made it seem like I had lied. Didn't get the job because of it.

That sucks. After I left my ex, a so called friend went to him, and they're going to move in together. so much for friendship , eh? Plus at least 4 frivelous socail services calls on me. Gosh I hate some people!!!

Well I suffer from manic depression and was on medication until my boss candelled our medical coverage because it was costing him too much money!!!! So now I have no coverage and I'm in worse condition than ever before. Oh and a month after he cancelled our med coverage he went out and bought 2 new Harley's, a new truck, and a new 30 foot travel trailer!!!!!!
