If my boss, or anyone else I knew could hover, we would make a ton of money.

Personally, I find my job to be almost enjoyable, as I have done it long enough to be reasonably good at it.

Find a job that you are happy with and and one that you are apreciated as well. In the mean time, tell your boss, in a nice way, is there a reason for this? Am I not doing good enough, tell me where to improve and leve me alone. But seriously, Holidays and sundays too?, You sound young, get another job.

I'm a boss in a 24/7 business. Perform your job so well that he/she doesn't have to worry about your end. Believe me, he/she has been disappointed so many times, and had to suffer the consequences, that he/she will be checking up on you. It takes some time to develop trust, but if you do your job well, in time your boss will focus on someone else.

Tell your boss that you work better alone. Also, it seems like they are micro managing you. Ask your boss if they have confidence enough in your work ethics to leave you alone so you can do your job.

Get another job, what an annoying manner your boss has. That is too much stress induced in your day...

if you want to succeed , you have to perform. Not fair if they expect this when on holiday or weekend, (do they pay overtime?)since i do not know what your job is...it is difficult to comment more -

IT IS YOUR BAD LUCK THAT YOU GOT SUCH TYPE OF BOSS
NO OTHER ALTERNATIVE TRY TO PERFORM BETTER. I AM WORKING IN BANK IF I GET SUCH TYPE OF MANAGER I DO THREE TIMES EXCESS JOB THEN A NORMAL PERSON ULTIMATELY HE HAS TO CHECK ALL MY JOB.

for starters, stop working on your days off, that's called slavery, and tell him bluntly that you can't work with the deadlines he is giving you. If he doesn't like it, quit.
