The thing I've never been able to understand is how do you play a record backwards? My CD and turntable only go in one direction.

1 play song in any media player
2. use windows SOUND RECORDER to record the audio. you may have to play with you computers volume/audio settings to get it to record, but it WILL work.
3. in SR, there is a reverse option that lets you reverse it.
I used this method to decipher a Bloodhound Gang song where Jimmy Pop sings backwards

l've heard it on a turn table turned backward ,it says decide to smoke marijuana over and over through the whole song.

Its called "Backwardmasking" a lot of bands in the 70's did it. It was done on purpose.

its true. but it only sounds like it, obviosuly this was not planned. different pitches or speeds if he sang it differently but same words mightve made this not possible...
