It seems all are trying to avoid answering.
To start with, from the lebanese' end, there are around 1100 people killed of which about 52% are children and 30% are women.
53 Hizablla resistance fighters died on the front facing the Israeli terrorist army. however, 1 million people at least were forced to leave their houses and head north. Even heading north did not help since Israel has bombed the north of lebanon where no existance of Hizballa.
On the other hand, hizablla resistance fighters have killed more than 400 Israeli troops inside lebanon, this is not to mention the 147 tanks that were totally distructed. More than 50 civillians were killed by the Hizballa bombing of the occupied palestinian cities.
To add more to this, Israel is still putting lebanon under siege where flights are restricted into and out of the country.
PS: the israeli army has been planning for this was since 2 years. In addition, this was a war planned and requested by the USA and executed by Israel.
Mr. Bush came out and said Israel won. The Israeli press is saying israel lost the war.
Who's right?

Somewhat fewer than were raped, tortured and killed by their neighbors before we showed up. Oh, and we haven't been experimenting with chemical weapons on the unpopular people of Iraq like the person we removed from power.
Ever heard of a rape room? It's just one of the fun little places Saddam put women he didn't like. Sometimes just to torture the men in their lives...
Think about that before you decide America did a bad thing by going to Iraq.

Zero - the causes for problems in the Muslim world are Terrorist groups like Hizballoo and the terror supporting gov'ts of countries like Syria and Iran. Islamic Fascists are destroying the Middle East and they are trying to export their misery to the rest of the world. I wonder why people feel the need to make excuses for these fiends?

The Bush administration was informed in advance and gave the "green light" to Israel's military strikes against Hizbollah with plans drawn up months before two Israeli soldiers were seized it has been claimed.
The US reportedly considered Israel's actions as a necessary prerequisite for a possible strike against Iran. A report by a leading investigative reporter says that earlier this summer Israeli officials visited Washington to brief the government on its plan to respond to any Hizbollah provocation and to "find out how much the US would bear".
The officials apparently started their inquiries with Vice-President Dick Cheney, knowing that if they secured his support, obtaining the backing of President Bush and Condoleezza Rice would be easier.

First off, America had nothing to do with that. You dumb@sses did that to yourselves. Last i recall Americans did not choose to blow up two very special towers, attack Innocent people with explosives, or make threats against others because they had problems caused by there own government and people. Take responsibility for your won actions and stop blaming us Americans. We have enough problems as it is with or economy and moron President.
