for me, last week i was best man at my best friends wedding.
i gave a toast...
when i told jokes, i was superman.
when i tried to break it down and tell him what a great friend he has been to me, i almost broke down. emotionally charged words are difficult to say sometimes.

The hardest thing to say to someone is that you cheated on them. I think. My second choice would be. Tell someone you don't love them anymore.

the truth, when it would hurt them. Sometimes we lie, because we don't wanna hurt someones feelings. We don't wanna be cruel, or mean, so we think of a good excuse, or a good way to get out of being put on the spot.

I agree that "I love you" and "I'm sorry" are hard to say if you mean them.
Also, saying "I don't like you", or "I am not sorry" are difficult - especially if you know that you are going to have continued contact with the person.
