So far, nothing is expected for the next 7 days.
Hurricanes on the Pacific start in the Gulf of Tehuantepec (Oaxaca State), they start as Tropical depressions, then Tropical Storms and then Hurricanes. At the same time they develop, they move North. It will take from 5 to 7 days if the conditions are favorable to reach Cabo.
And right now, nothing is forming in Tehuantepec.
But you never know with Mother Nature.

Having been to the two Puerto Vallarta and Los Cabos, indexed under are some information for the two- Puerto Vallarta- far greater golf equipment, options for hotels, and youthful crowds. Nightlife looks longer here with dance golf equipment polishing off after 4 am, only whilst after golf equipment are commencing- they close at 9 am, only in time for breakfast. Boardwalk is packed full of occasion people and appealing females in bikini tops. nutrition is great and stages from 4 action picture star to "tastes like 4 action picture star yet expenditures a dollar." additionally, a very good form of water activities and jungle activities that at the instant are not provided in Cabo. Cabo is ideal too, a very good form of golf equipment, hotels and issues to do. The travelers here look an older crowd- extremely game fisherman. no longer that the gang is previous, yet looks there are much less 20-something travelers here than PV. Cabo San Lucas has great nightclubs, great eating places and is very modern-day- comparable to PV's lodge zone area. surfing is a plus here, while constrained in PV. Swimming, isn't continually risk-free in Cabo. you are going to have a great time at the two place and with no longer too plenty massive difference from the hotels themselves- this is the actual question- might you fairly be warm or moist? Cabo is warm during August- extremely warm. Puerto Vallarta is moist- close to-nightly downpours which may be stressful different than for the staggering lightening exhibits you will see.

Your question is regarding hurricanes......they don't usually get to Cabo or the Pacific side. They hit the east coasts and the Gulf.
It would be very very unusual for one to hit Cabo any time of the year. They just don't happen there; and if they do, they are so mild you wouldn't know it other than for some rain one day. Have a good trip.

No hurricanes in the forecast. However it usually rains only 7 days a year in Cabo...and those 7 are usually in September.

I totally disagree...Puerto Vallarta is as much of a tourist town as Cabo, but Cabo is a little smaller and more intimate...I got to Cabo twice a year and it's nice...the few bars I frequent, everyone remembers us...it's a nice touch...don't get me wrong, it's touristy...most resorts in Mexico are, but it's no better or worse than PV, Mazatlan, Cancun, ALcapulco, etc.
www.allaboutcabo.com for some great information.
