In Saudi Arabia public executions are beheadings - really bloody and gory! Sorry, if I ruined your dinner!

In Riyadh's "chop-chop" square at Diya, Friday executions are public events and anyone is welcome to attent. The intention of this openness is to deter further "evil-doers" from committing crimes. I avoided them at all costs. In America, executions are relatively private prison events and I do believe require invitations. I wouldn't go if I were invited.

I have never been invited to an execution, and don't ever expect to be, so no, I will not be disappointed if I am not invited.

I would attend a beheading or a hanging. Or even an electrocution. I am a bit morbid like that. I would need to know the person was a murderer or something first though. I couldn't bear it if the person was innocent.

I guess I'll never know as I probably most definitely will not ever be in such a situation. Those that say they would actually enjoy seeing this execution have serious mental issues that need to be resolved.
