I understand you.........and your not gonna spend any time in Hell if your a Christian. You don't have to have your theological thinking 100% in line with every Pastor or other theologian to go to heaven. God can handle your thinking, attitude, sorrow, joy, etc. (the only thing he cannot tolerate is sin...) I feel the same way sometimes....I think, "Man, eternity is a loooooooooong time." But I try not to worry about it. Because the Bible says we will be changed when we enter paradise so I think our attitude about eternity will change too........also, I think in the spiritual realm we will not see time as a slow plodding year by year thing....1000 years may actually zoom by.....Trust God that he knows your mind and already has the answer waiting for you.

Step back from everything for a minute. Consider what *you* believe--not what you have been told to believe. Not what anyone else says. If it lines up with those things, that's fine. But stop and take your experience and figure out what you believe apart from anything else first.
Does it line up with what you've been told? If so, that's fine. if not, stop and take another look at other people's versions of truth (religioustolerance.org is a very good site for some basic research), and at the least get a look at other viewpoints on eternity.
Note that I am not, I repeat not, advocating up and leaving your religion. I am advocating a good critical look with some additional knowledge behind it. Figure out what *you* believe.

Well that's too damn bad, because you already have it. You don't decide what you want, he does. One thing you do decide is if you wanna go to heaven or hell, which you have already have decided. Just good life decisions will lead you their, and in no time the lord will be preparing you a castle in heaven.

Yours is a very sad statement. You must be comparing your life here to what it may be like in heaven.....chill out ....it is not at all the same......You won't know until you get there...plus don't worry your mother by making such statements . Your doctor may need to increase your depression medication

don't be scared.
there is so many different opinions what is going to happen after life...
every religion has different ideas about it.
no one can say if your mother and pastor is right.
don't worry about it now. you'll see what will happen when you die...
