There's a number of them, but I personally feel one of the safest is iTunes for listen to any mp3s you have stored on your PC. It's free to download and it's a really great player. You can download it for any PC.
Another I like is Yahoo! Launchcast and Launchcast Unlimited. You can customize your own radio station but also play your own MP3s.

I would have to say iTunes but like most people you don't want to pay for your music. If you want free downloads than there are a number of programs you can use but they aren't as safe.
