Close your eyes, breathe deep and slowly count to 10.
Think of a waterfall, or a calm pool full of carp.. or a zen rock garden with nice circular patterns raked into the gravel...
Failing that, just leave the room. Slam the door if that makes you feel better.

Seriously, take classes or see a therapist, its the only way you'll be able to control it. I've known and know many people with anger management problems, I understand you feel guilty and obviously want to get rid of it, but wishful thinking isn't going to get you anywhere. Seriously, do your friends and family a favor and get yourself the help you need.

Take deep slow breaths, count ot 10 & walk away if still angry do something physical like a brisk walk to dissolve it. Once you've calmed down tell the person you're angry with hoe you feel & why.

Write down your thoughts. You don't have to censor yourself that way. In the time it takes you to write your thoughts you will either have come up with a solution or realized the problem was silly to begin with.

tie a cardboard box in a tree, kinda like a pinata, then with a big stick smash away. Works for my hormonal daughter!

take a deep breath, hold that for 10 seconds, exhale slowly, repeat twice and then look away from what your angry with, put your head down and calmly walk away. remain away from whatever your angry with until your thoughts are rational again
