i have reformated my computer (not the one i'm on right now) and it wont boot from a CD, but i was told i could use my system resotoration kit CD's to make a boot disk (floppy) on another computer... how do i do this, what files do i need to copy to the disk?

If your CD is suppose to be bootable, you may just need to go in to your bios, (usually either hit the DEL or F2 key while booting), and look for 'Boot Options' or 'Boot List' or 'Boot Devices'.

Make sure that the CD drive is first on the list.

Otherwise, you will need to go to a working computer with ME installed, and from a command prompt, type:
>sys c: a:
and Enter key.
Then you will need to find CDROM drivers to go on to the floppy disk to view your CD disk.

I believe Win98 and ME were close enough for booting.
