If you are looking for a lot of space buy an ipod U2 but for a small and handy Ipod that you carry around everywhere, buy the Ipod Nano with 4 GB

I would say the video. If your already planning to spend money, do it well and get the best you can. The Ipod Video is very nice, I have the 30 gig and it can also be used as a hard drive so u can travel with files as well.

Are you a computer geek I would recomend the shuffle, since you can use it as easily as a flash drive.
Do you exerciese a lot , the nano's are great because the hard drive doesn't skip like video ipods.
If your just walking when listening to the ipod then of course the video because it has video.

Depends on how much music you want it to hold.
• The 512MB Shuffle will hold about 130 songs.
• The 1GB Shuffle will hold about 260 songs.
• The 1GB Nano will hold about 260 songs. It can also display pictures.
• The 2GB Nano will hold about 520 songs. It can also display pictures.
• The 4GB Nano will hold about 1,040 songs. It can also display pictures.
• The 30GB Video will hold about 7,800 songs. It can also display pictures and play videos.
• The 60GB Video will hold about 15,600 songs. It can also display pictures and play videos.
And there are other MP3 players out there...
