The 'inductive analogical' argument is more widely and usually known as the design argument (or the argument to a designer). It goes as follows:
Things like clocks and houses have the appearance of having been designed.
The world as a whole also has that appearance.
Clocks and houses, we know, are designed.
Therefore, the world also was designed.
Analogy is one of the three main sorts of argument (of any kind). The basic form of analogy (that is, its basic structure) is as follows:
A is x.
B is x.
A is y
____
B is y.
Here's another example:
The Arctic is a cold region.
The Antarctic is a cold region.
The Arctic has polar bears.
So, the Antarctic has polar bears.
I have used this polar bears example to show that the conclusion of an analogy, even if its premises are true, can be false (there are in fact no polar bears in the Antarctic).
It was the philosopher David Hume who pointed out that the design argument is an analogy and that its conclusion is thus uncertain.
If you are writing a term paper or something on this, you should add that Darwin's theory of evolution by natural selection is an alternative explanation of why living things appear to have been designed.
Btw, the other two main sorts of argument (of any kind) are (1) deduction and (2) induction by enumeration. Analogy is usually classed as a sort of induction, but that is misleading - all it means is that analogy is not deduction.

As the song says, God is a concept by which we measure our pain... that´s the God that most people believe in. My own personal definition of God is the total amount of energy that keeps this universe as it is. every living being has an electric charge, from amino-acids chains to multi-cellular creatures are charge electrically, and so are the bodies that move around the open space, and everything that can be translated into energy, so if you consider that as a total amount of energy with it´s own laws of behavior, that is a good definition of God. Energy, as well as material, can´t be created or destroyed but transformed. I read lately a comment that said that God is a fractal. That is also a good definition.

I will answer BEEFSHIELD. Look at a tree and its beauty..think god. Look at a tree being cut and the gum coming out and worms walking on it...think Satan?
Look at a beautiful woman think god's creation(I got a male brain) Look at that same body lying in a graveyard with phlegam, mucus, stool and urine around and worms on the body with eyes poped out...think Satan? Think again, not rational

its called faith. some people see nature and its beauty and say to themselves "what could have made all of this? this was no coincidence!". while others see nature and all its beauty and say "well when the stars align right and this and that... it creates this planet randomly for no purpose at all but to exist". you can think one way or another (or somewhere in between i guess) but for me i believe there is a higher being out there that made us
