you should not be feeding your baby cows/goats milk until they are a little older. The best milk is either breast or tin formula. The formula has directions on the tin. If you cannot afford the formula & have decided to stop breast feeding, you really should dilute the milk right down to about 30% milk to 70% water. Reason they should not have milk at this age is because their digestive system cannot handle the richness. i would feed your bub just a little bit at a time, not sure where in the world you are so I can't offer measurements!!
Try calling your local community nurse for further advise.

if you mean regular cow's milk, then consult your pediatrician as to whether or not it's too early to introduce it at 10 months.

if you mean infant formula, a 10-month-old should be taking in up to 24 oz. or so in a 24-hour period, depending on how much solids the baby is eating. at this age, babies normally consume less formula/breastmilk than at 6 months because of the increase in solid foods they're eating. again, consult with your pediatrician.

good luck!

Breastmilk goes thru a baby's system faster so they should be fed on demand.

Formula should be given at 6-8 oz per feeding & should be fed no less than 6 times a day.

Hope that helps.
