I don't want to seem mean but you should do things that will take your mind off of him because you won't be as hurt if/ when you find out he has a new girl. Sorry I hope everything works out for you.

In my experience long distance relationships dont work, but not to discourage you. If it does work then the reward is that much sweeter. Go with it and do your best.
