According to some papers , Jeremy Mayfield's lawyer,I guess, blamed the team bad perfomances on Ray Evernham's personal relationship with a female driver for his team which of course if Erin.Do any of you believe this was a factor in the spilt between evernham and mayfriend.Also, A few people believe that Erin should resign fron Evernham motorsports if this is true because it would make it seem like to get into a decent ride in Nascar as a woman you have to sleep with the boss since Erin hasn't had that many great finishes as of late.What do all of you think?

The only thing I got to say is that I was proud of a women in NASCAR Erin Crocker, but now I don't really care about her career.

The only reason Erin has a ride is because she is banging Evernham. I have a friend who builds parts for NASCAR teams and he knows people who work in many of the pits. He overheard the discussion going on in the 19's garage about Evernhams wife catching Ray & Erin doing the nasty. I dont see why Erin should resign because of it, granted it does make a bad impresion.
That being said, I dont see how Ray & Erin bumping uglies can be a factor in the Mayfield/Evernham split. Jeremy is using it as an excuse for him being a crappy driver. If he was driving as well as Kahne or even Riggs, this discussion would never be happening. But he cant keep his car in contention, and knew he was done at the end of the season, so he is slinging all the mud he can at everyone.

First off, what Ray is doing with Erin shouldn't be Mayfield's business. Mayfield had other beefs and used that as a big part of the reason. He needs to look at himself first before going off and slamming others.
Erin is showing improvement, although slight. She appears to be doing better in the Busch races she runs than the Truck Series. Just maybe she needs to do that full time next year and see where she stands.

Well, as far as the lawsuit goes.....that has already been settled, over and done with. His release had nothing to do with Erin Crocker. Jeremy was fired because of bad performance and because of is bad-mouthing of his boss to the media. If I were Ray, I would have fired his butt too. He deserved it, but it had nothing to do with Erin Crocker. Why do people INSIST on putting her in the middle of this? Seems like some of you "fans" are just itching for soem DRAMA.....wow......Yes, it is rumored that their relationship is "more than just friends", but the key word is RUMOR.......until it is fact based......it simply has no meaning. And just b/c Jeremy or his lawyer said that, doesn't make it true. And again, it has nothing to do with why Ray fired Jeremy.

What does sleeping or not sleeping with Erin have to do with Jeremy and Evernham?? Please!! I am not saying who is right or wrong in the situation, but leave Erin out of it!!!

Jeremy Mayfield got canned because his on track performance was unacceptable. If you have ever had the pleasure of watching Ms. Crocker pilot a Craftsmen Truck or a Busch Series car she is clearly attempting something beyond her present abilities.

I totally agree!Erin Crocker should not even be racing.And the only reason why she is still there at EMS is because shes sleeping with the boss!DUH!Anybody can figure that out.Thats why Jeremy talked bad about Ray on tv cuz he wasnt at the races enough cuz he was always at the truck races with his stupid lil whore of a girlfriend Erin.It really pisses me off how unprofessional Ray can be in this situation.

That is retarded. I don't care who the boss is getting funky with, the employees need to show pride in the product. This is Mayfield's sour grapes and mudslinging. Besides bringing in rumor's about Ray and Erin's private lives is totally low class.
