I just started buying stuff online, and the seller asks me to pay via money order. I've never used it, but I know this liquor store by my house does it. So what do I have to do? I just get the name and adress of the seller, right? Will the liquor store mail it off or is my responsibility to mail it? How long will it take for them to receive it? The item i'm buying is urgent, so I need it by Monday, is it possible???? thankss

Oh, and do they charge for the money orders? If so, how much? I have $23.00 to send, does the charge of the money order depend on how much I'm sending?

you have to buy it, around here it cost 59cents,and you have to address it and send it yourself, but keep your stub in case you have to trace it.

Depends on where you are.

In Australia a money order cost $2.50 and we get it from the Post Office. We need the name of whom the order is to be made out for and the amount. It is our responsibility to send it off in the mail.

You will never get your item by Monday whether you're paying by Money Order, Telegraphic Transfer or Paypal.

Or you can use a certified check from your local bank. They cost a little more than money orders. Around $5. You will need the name of the person you are making the check out to. You will have to mail the check yourself, but they are much easier to trace than money orders are, if you should run into problems.
