You get a f-ing designated driver, dumbsh*t. I hope you die as a result of driving drunk. Anyone who doesn’t obey this law deserves to die.

Call a taxi- call your mom- call a friend- call anyone to keep you from driving after you have drank. I ( and I'm sure many others) have lost friends to drinking and driving or to a drunk driver.

Tired S- i actually feel sorry for you. For the pain and heartache you will cause those who love you and those who love your potential victim(s). I have reported this answer. I hope you have no problems sleeping if this person hits a child because he takes your glorification to heart. Sorry, I am not a person that just flames others but...

Of course I follow the law; the consequences would F you over for life. Imagine crippling another driver; you have to support him for life now. I also fear for myself. Never ever drink and drive. Always think ahead and either sleep over or have a friend that can resist drinking that night.

I've been drinking and driving for years, and never had an accident and never been caught. Of course, I am not invincible - but I think the image portrayed by the government/media is a little exagerrated. There are more factors than just the alcohol that come into play. Yes, alcohol does impair your ability to drive. However, if you're driving at night, in minimal traffic, concentrating and obeying the other road rules then you should be fine. So don't worry about it, and drink up!

This is in response to:

Tired's answer...that is the most irresponsible answer I've seen since I came to this site! Don't you know that some people can't control how much they drink? It's called "alcoholism." So you're telling potential alcoholics to go out their and do their thing, at the risk of anyone else who just happens to be out on the road at the time these drinkers are. NICE! Real nice.
You're reported!

You and your friends take turns being designated driver or you keep a few bucks out of your beer money to call a cab or you lobby for better public transportation at night or you drink close to home or stay where you are until you are completely sober or you put a few miles on your sneakers.

What you don't do is drive drunk. I never have and I never will.

DESIGNATED DRIVER. Ok everyone wants to drink in your group? Take a taxi or bus back. It's fun. Everyone chips in and lets someone else drive.
