although i am not online at that time but whenever they check my mail they say that a yelow face is glowing in front of your e-mail id, is this mean some one use that side when thry see my mail.is my e-mail id is hacked.

It's the online status indicator.
It will light up if you're either logged onto messenger, or still logged into a yahoo site. It's not constantly up to date, so it might still show for a while after you log off.

On-line notification.
It means you are logged in somewhere. If not you should alert yahoo.
when you log in to check your email yahoo registers you as on-line so even if he is logging in on his computer it's with your ID so yahoo says you are on-line...

Go to your yahoo profile page,uncheck the box,hide my on line status.That should do it.

It simply means you have a IM screen name, and they can click it to add you to their contact list.

i believe it has no harm at all if it is smileys. but if someone's else picture then you have to do something bout that.
