Nausea IS a symptom of something else. Your stomach feels unstable, you may feel like there's a lump in your throat and you may salivate alot. Then you throw up and that's really a drag!

Nausea is a symptom. It's a very sick feeling in your stomach...like near vomiting.

nausea is a symptom... it is the urge to vomit.... may may mean several things...

* Viral infections
* due to Medications
* Seasickness or motion sickness
* Migraine headaches
* Morning sickness during pregnancy
* Food poisoning
* Food allergies
* Brain tumors
* Chemotherapy in cancer patients
* Bulimia
* Alcoholism

or maybe due to stress.

nausea... um... the urge to hurl.

You can tell you are nauseous if there is a seasoned medic around you who says, out of nowhere... "you better not puke on my truck"

you feel queasyness in your stomach, you feel like throwing up, your stomach does flip flops and sometimes there is slight pain
