Why do people ask dumb questions?
For real-- I'm being serious. For the short time that I've been here, I've noticed a lot of questions that could be easily looked up.
One question I just noticed asked, "Does anyone know when the University of Texas' classes start?"
(I'm thinking, well, if you're enrolled, you better find out-- most likely on their site)
I'm wondering how they ever got accepted.
Another example: "Does anyone know where I can buy jewelry?"
(Uhh... the mall maybe? Perhaps a pond shop.. maybe a jewelry store?)
I mean, do you really think it's that necessary to ask such questions? Or is it that some people are just plain lazy?

Spell Check would be great if it wasn't as slow as dial up.

BWAHAHAHA! Pond shop? ok ok, just picking. But I do tend to think that when someone asks where to buy jewelry that they are looking for something unique or some recommendations to specialty sites that aren't coming up on searches. I know, I know....they should just say that.......but from being on yahoo answers now for a few months, I have learned to look deeper into the questions asked.....well of course except for the ones that say, I am 5'4" and weigh 90 lbs, am I fat? Those just make me laugh!

Rob, these people have no better thing to do than to ask where can they buy jewelry lol. Ignore them, because they are usually the one that have the dumbest (and the rudest!) answers.

I just think people on here just like to ask questions sometimes to see if anybody will respond . And some people ask very legit questions . After all this is Yahoo's question and answer's .

you bet they are but some are less smart or less gifted to think what they are asking.
so don't bother your self that's how people think and act.
just answer which one you like.
anyway this is not for the smart people only it's even for the less fortunate one also...

Maybe they think a geek like you can answer them since you think you know everything ! Oh yeah, you can take your calculus and algebra and stick it up your CULO, pendejo !

i keep telling them to look it up, what is a pond shop???? you know that word is pawn. they are lazy, they want to be noticed, they are just plain stupid and so on.

I know... Some of them you think to yourself,...'This is too stupid to answer!" but sometimes I answer just to tell them how stupid they are...depends on my mood.
