i need an honest answer from muslim's point of view as well as non muslim's...do help me

islam isnt islam-ok never was and never will be-they say Jesus is a prophet-yet they refuse what he says-"Ye must be born again to see the kingdom of God" and to open our heart let him in to forgive sins and become our friend-John 3 on the first and Revelation 1vs1 &3 vs 19&20 on the second-when u dont believe that why believe to love your enemies and help them-and do unto others as u would have them to do unto you-sure there are ones that dont terrorize and are nice guys-but the end is not fate its rejection of truth-John 12 vs 48 the word of Jesus will judge them in the end and Revelation 22 if u add to my words, i will put a plague upon u-even the koran which says Jesus was the only prophet without sin-muhamed married a 8 year old girl and said she was his favorite wife-really islam get a life

Islam is now what it has always been: a pure religion based on believing in one God and doing good deeds, and abstaining from bad deeds.
Islam has been getting a bad rep recently because of terrorists, but people forget that terrorism is not associated with the religion of Islam, because terrorists don't even practice Islam the way it's taught. Instead they distort it to push their political and destructive agendas. So that's not what Islam is about.
Islam is about loving every human around you, and giving to the poor, and loving God so much that you would pray 5 times a day to repay gratitude. Islam is about fasting for a month during the year to understand human pain when they have no food or water, and to make us more thankful for what we have (much like lent!)It is about that now and has always been about that.
People focus on what is "different" with people who are Muslim versus those who are not. Muslim women cover up. They are not forced to (I wear capris and shorts) by the religion; this is just a cultural practice stemming from the middle east, where covering up saves you from blistering sandstorms. Also, modesty is encouraged in lifestyle and in clothing. Men are not dominant over women, but everyone is equal. Even today and historically, Muslim women were lawyers, doctors, and politicians.We don't eat pork, but neither do Jewish people. We bless our meat and kill animals in the most humane way to not hurt it.
So to answer your question, Islam is now what it has always been: a beautiful and chaste religion. Don't be persuaded with what "others" say because they have not experienced it; they only hear negative things based on what extremists do.
