Yes. My daughter is mentally challenged, so need special attention.
My son has CP,in a wheel chair and needs to be fed thru a tube, so he needs special attention as well.

Yes I do. They grow up so fast. Time flies by in the wink of an eye. I have a 5 yr. old & a 2 yr. old & sometimes I just think back to when they were newborns & needed me to do everything for them. Now they're at ages where they want to learn to do things for themselves. Even though they're still small children I'm afraid that they'll be all grown up soon and I won't get all the hugs & kisses & the "I love you mommy"comments that I so adore. So cherish your children.

Oh most definitely! When my son was little, I used to read to him, making funny sounds for the characters; take him to the park, take him pretty much whereever I went, took him swimming (once he learned how to). Like most parents though, once he hit junior high & high school, life with mom was pretty non-existent. Now, as he is about to turn 21, we don't DO as much together as we used to, but we have gone out to eat together from time to time and we do talk.

And everyday, I ask God to protect him in everything he does.

It's the best I can do.

I have one son. He's away at college during the school year, so I really value the time I share with him when he's home on vacation. He's 20 now, and I enjoyed watching him grow up and change. The time has gone by really fast! He has become a delightful person.

hi there interesting question ? very clever !!dont we all do both with them we spend time with them but we take our time to make sure that they are well and happy and that they dont have any problems i know thats what i do with my kids
