Depends on your height. I'm 9 stone and I'm 5'4" and am 26, I've been told that I am a perfect weight by a specialist dietician.
I was about 8 and half stone at 16 and was told I was ok then too, same height back then also.
If you are happy then don't worry about it. 9 stone is not heavy at all. Wait until you're 10 or 11stone then start doing a little more exercise, and cutting out the greasy foods.
If you are bothered then you don't actually need to loose weight you probably just need to tone up, getting that puppy fat, flat.

i think you are fine, and might want to avoid people who would try to make you feel bad about yourself.
Forget your weight, concentrate on how healthy you feel, do you get much excercise?
look, i weigh, about 10 stone and i am 5'5, i wear clothes size 10-occasional 12, i look very healthy and people tell me i have a good figure, the point i am trying to make, is that, if i was to lose a stone and become 9 stone i would look like a skeleton- i am not meant to be much smaller than this.
i know many people who look much fatter than me, but weigh less, i have dense bones and am fairly muscular- this runs in my family.
Dont try to be the 7 stone celeb ideal- you will look ill, feel ill and its dangerous.
we all come in different sizes! i have a 12 year old son who weighs 8 and a half stone, he could be seen as overweight if you just took his weight into account, however he is VERY lean, really healthy, and does much sport!!!
Dont get caught in the dieting trap, i have tried it all my life, even though, i have probably never really needed to, as a result i have to be careful, because i can become dangerously obsessed and i believ i have come close to getting eating disorder in the past.
Its time we all fight back, and try to be healthy!
Excercise, eat well, keep active, enjoy food, but do not let it rule your life!
people need to stop trying to be skinny! unless you are genuinly a very lean person naturally, embarking on a deprivation diet to achieve the celebrity endorsed waif look is so wrong!
Be happy and confident, this makes you look much more attractive than a size 4 pair of jeans will!
all the best.

You are not overweight, 9st is a good weight. Stop obsessing about your weight and get a dog, best excercise in the world and a lot of fun! Just control the fat in your diet and do some excercise, and stop worrying!
People can be cruel, so take no notice and when they say stuff like that, just smile and say, "yes I know, but I'm happy!" it takes the sting from their words and makes them look less than kind, and above all, be that....happy with yourself! Glowing on the inside is such a good look!

It all depends on your height. You can be tall and have that weight and look skinny, or vice versa. But if you feel that you could use to loose a few pounds, start a healthy diet. It is not that difficult. I lost about fifteen pounds, and all I did was eat a little bit less, not eat sweets at all and have less butter. And you can do a ten minute exercise every morning, which really helps. The pounds will disappear.

Depends how tall you are , but can 9 stone (126lb), for an average person ever be classed as overweight?

are you round? do you look chubby?
I was 13 stone when I was 16 and didn't look fat at all, I was fairly muscular and had a very large body frame (not code for fat).
Meant I was naturally big, you might be the same too

It really depends on how tall you are if you are between 5' 0 and 5'6 you are normal weight. If you're under 5'0 then you are overweight but if you're over 5'6 your underweight.

Impossible to say. What build are you? Perhaps a better question to ask yourself is - do I have a healthy lifestyle. Don't get weight obsessed, especially at your age.
