I think that Anikin Skywalker is a very interesting character. I am talking about right before he becomes Darth Vader. The emotions and hurt and turmoil that he goes through to save Padme is a great story line. The actor portrayed strong emotions with such truth that he brought Anikin to life on the screen. Great story telling and a timeless idea.

I am a Lazarus Long fan from Robert Heinlein novels (like "Time Enough for Love"). I also love the Pan character from Tom Robbin's novel "Jitterbug Perfume". And Cohen the Barbarian from Terry Pratchett DiscWorld novels.

I guess if I have to pick one, it would be Lazarus Long's mom, Maureen Smith.

Peace!

Katie Scarlett O'Hara Hamilton Kennedy Butler(her full name after all husbands) from Gone With the Wind is my hero! She's a cold hard ***** and I love her.

Terri M is incorrect about Scarlett's full name. She got the name of her first husband, Charles Hamilton, confused with Ashley Wilkes perhaps because Charles's sister married Ashley.

I am very much into Lazarus Long from Heinlein but all of his characters are so full of a life of their own.
I think my favorite are the hobbits from Lord Of the Rings tho.
Good question :)
