quit a fast food job because it was too stressful. i was stressed by the obnoxious customers and stressed by the multitasking because the place was understaffed.

Yes its stress full, but I enjoyed it as a teenager. Actually I think if all kids worked fast food for one summer, they would then appreciate all the work a person does for minimum wages

I use to work at a popeyes for the summer before I started college. Fast food is very stressful. People are very rude. They hate to wait for anything. They fuss about prices. It was a mess. I did like working there but I hated being a cashier so I moved to the back. i learned how to cook. And I know its sounds crazy but I use to enjoy doing the dishes because I didn't have to deal with customers. I think most fast food places are unerstaffed because I know we were. I seen the same people everytime I came to work. Also I don't fast food places do not pay employees as much as they deserve. yeah some people may be like well all they doing is taking an order. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Take the order, pack the order, cook the food, clean the dishes, clean everything in the whole building, and deal with A**hole customers. Fast food employees get paid crap.

100 lemons in 5 min is easy, you are only cutting them in half. Take that headset and do drive through over lunch rush, then talk to me about stressful. You will get faster as you get used to the job, as you adapt it will also become less stressful. As far as cutting fast, be careful, and eventually you will develop some muscle memory to help with that. One of my coworkers severed the tip of his thumb right off cutting lemons. Pay attention. If you think cutting off part of your finger is bad, squeeze some lemon juice in the wound.

the customers always gonna stress you out what ever job you choose as for fast food job i never like mine , if the pay was better i could deal with it

Fast food is the crappiest industry ever. Of course it sucks, they work you to the bone because their business strategy is VOLUME. They sell for as cheap as possible but they like to sell A LOT...this means more work for you, who has to make the burgers in the first place!
