I think people with talent (athletes, actor, musicians) deserve all the money they get - they can do what the other 99% of us can't - They are not over paid, they earn every penny - what I can't stand is when these same folks think just because they make all of this money that they can act like dumbassses -

I think they are just normal people who have more talent in acting then most. I don't really get it though. I mean if your talent is being gifted for learning, nobody is famous for being smart. Also, why are people so hung up on celebrities? No offense to the Paris Hilton fans, so please don't take this personally, its just an example. Paris Hilton really isn't very good at acting, I've seen some of her movies, she's not a singer or anything, so why do people like her? I understand some people, like Johnny Depp. He's a great actor. But other people seem to be famous because they have a reality T.V. show that makes fun of non-famous people. I don't get it.

i think that some of them are very messed up people. starving themselves, working out too much, having sex with people on tv, it all is just sickening. But you have good actors like Beyonce and Steve Martin and so many others. i do think they get paid too much, but hey, god has a plan for all of us. One of the reason i even like them is because they help kids in Africa. I am nigerian and have seen poverty and am very happy that they are trying to stop it.

I think they're appropriately paid for the amount of money they make their movie studios, record labels, networks, etc., however, I'm really tired of all of the paparazzi photos of them with coffee b/c I could care less...like, "Wow, they drink coffee!!! How unique!" I seriously wish that we didn't have to see every moment of these people's lives in pictures b/c they're boring in their real lives.

I personally believe they are not happy people that dont have a life like normal people...read about them is any magazine and what do you find ??? problems...problems and more problems. Most of them live a disguised life so ya...with all the wealth they have, they are still unhappy people.

I don't know why their paychecks are so big.All I know is that we as a society are very facinated by celebs,that's why we constantly talk about them.

I think they're clearly overrated/overpayed/ who needs them really? it's only our own laziness and mediocrity that's allowing for idols to be put up on a pedestal
