everybody knows the rules for induction into the "Hall of Fame" (25 years after the first released record)
My Question: at this time, who is eligible, and who is getting slighted?
My Nominations: Rush
Kiss
Sex Pistols
The Monkees
I am anxious to hear other views on this...

Rush for certain. They are the most influential progressive rock band. They've received the Order of Canada, so clearly their country recognizes their efforts and talent.
30 years and counting, certainly one of the top prog rock bands - and certainly the most recognizable, National recognition, lyrics are actually used to help teach poetry, oh, and they have incredibly good music.
Kiss certainly put together a good show in their day and it effected culture, but "musically", Rush just stomps on all the others.

The Monkees only -the others arn't old enough.also, it depends on the popularity of the group. I wouldnt say the sex pistols or rush, but maybe kiss in a few more years.

properly the R&RHofF is in mattress with Rolling Stone mag interior the experience of Jann Wenner being in mattress with himself (what a photo) considering he co-depending that mag and is on the board of the R&RHofF. I lost interest even as the museum became equipped in Cleveland. If Cleveland is so great, why are the ceremonies held in huge apple? till low-priced Trick is inducted I genuinely don't have any use for them!!! Yahoo can be a staggering in good condition!!

I think Rush would be the best nominee. Simply because they have an intricate style and very technical guitar pieces. Plus their lyrics are poetry and have deep meaning where as Kiss is all about glam. They really are not that musically talented.

How about " Genesis " ?? or;
