he looks sickley. aside from that, there is something askew
with his story line.
In the mean time the media will speculate wildly with little
facts to go on. Best to turn off the TV for a week or so
until this thing gels.

Pfff..Anyone with half a brain or sense of the most common type can tell this guy had nothing to do with little JonBenet and her family. He's an obsessive, perverted reject who framed himself in hopes to slide into a high profile murder that he was conicidently obsessed with....Watching him on TV and listening to him, I can sniff out easily that he's a liar. Hes just not convincing. Cant wait til they do some DNA testing and expose this fraud and release him back to his pathetic life of probably sitting in some disgusting apartment on the internet for days wacking off to child porn while eating a steady diet of ramen noodles.

His wife said he was with her, in another state.

He claims the death was accidental, yet a garrott and other evidence point to a planned murder.

He said he drugged JonBenet, yet the autopsy showed no drugs in her system.

The original investigation showed no forced entry. Yet nobody has answered how this guy got into the house.

At this point, based on the info, something is fishy.

This guy was also, at one time, researching for a book about men who molest and murder children. It's possible this is a stunt to get a future book deal.

Does it matter? A trial will likely not turn on what he said, but on what hard evidence there is, including DNA.

Confessions, and indeed witness identification, are not worth very much in terms of proving facts. But judges and juries do tend to be swayed, so they help convict.

Whatever Steve Thomas didn't do, he certainly increased the likelihood of a miscarriage of justice. Better to convict a child abuser of a crime he didn't commit (but assuming he did commit other criimes we know about) than to convict the victim of that crime as Thomas would eagerly have done.

I hope both Thomas's and Karr's future lives are lived in abject misery.

I hope he did but I don't know...I certainly don't believe for one minute the parents did it and I'm tired of them being blamed for it. Those people have gone through hell...not only losing their daughter but being accused for it as well! This Karr guy is pretty weird and he may just be nuts and saying all that stuff. I've heard he knew some things the police had never made public but I guess we'll just have to wait for a jury to decide.

Well i just read some of the articles as you all did. Maybe he just needed a ticket back to the states and wanted to be able to fly for free.

I like to know how he was able to get into the house of someone he didn't even know?

Very strange we will have to wait for find out....the outcome.

In all honesty I think one of two things...1) He did it because he was paid by the parents to do it or 2)He was paid by the parents to say that he did it.
So in answer to the question I honestly do not think that he did it, but if he did I think he had some help!!

I doubt it. I just think he is sick. He moved to California to investigate more about a girl that was molested and killed. He said he drugged her but there is no evidence she was ever drugged. I do not think he will go to trial but go to the psych ward. He is nuts and I believe will get dimishing compacity in the court system.

No, I think he's in it for the media attention. Personally I think he's nuts. How did he pick her up from school on December 26th it was Christmas Vacation, there was no school and his x-wife said he was in Georgia or Alabama, how did he get to Colorado and back with no one noticing? He's not all there.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And for anyone who thinks the parents did it, you're way off base. I do not believe for one minute the her parents had anything to do with her murder!!!!!!!!!

No. From what I understand, he did a lot of research on her case AFTER her death. I think he just wants the attention.
