I'm not going to base my decisions on your opinions. I'm still going to do it. But what do you think of this. My youngest son is starting Kindergarten on Wednsday. Tommorow I'm going to go have a t-shirt printed that says "Class of 2019"..which obviously is the year he's going to graduate from highschool. What do you think of my idea?

I thinks it's great! It could be catchy too, and you might find other mums wanting to adopt your idea..you could be onto something there!

I'm glad my mother never got me a shirt like that. I would have let her down! You see I was a military brat and the schools overseas were different. I didn't have all the classes I needed to take already done so they held me back a year. I was mad...but then again, I did start kindergarten when I was 4. I still graduated with kids my age. Good luck.. I thinks it's cute. My daughter started kindergaten this week too...she has to wear a uniform though. I like that.. no pressure to wear designer clothes..and you already know what you're going to wear every day. She goes to a charter shool. Anyway...have fun with it!

Your son probably doesn't care how you dress him. All he cares is if you have a nice new toy for him when he gets home from his first day of school.

But in all seriousness, I reccomend preparing him a nice snack of something when he gets home on his first day, and give him a snack everyday up until 3rd or 4th grade. It really nice to be able to come home to something like that, especialyl when you're young.

As for your shirt, "clever."

Didn't we all "know by heart" the year we graduated from high school?

Nice idea. He won't know what it means now, so take a lot of pictures.

I think that is a cute idea, he probably won't get the humor but the other parents will like it. I think it is a great idea.

Cute idea. Do it now, because if you do it in a couple of years, he will be so embarassed.
Right now you can still get away with it.
