Some flavors have eggs (Rum Raisin flavor) as well as milk in the USA. In Asia there are seafood and meat flavors - anything that can be blended and chilled can end up as an ice cream - check your ingredients. The term 'ice cream' in the USA means that the product contains a certain amount of frozen milk with a certain amount of milk fat in it - any more or less and its not legally 'ice cream.'

what is your definition of vegetarian? If it is strictly not eating meat than, yes.
For some people, being vegetarian also means that they don't eat any products that come from an animal-ie.(milk, creams, eggs etc..)
