one of my friends wants to conjure a Genie, and she needs a spell, but cant find one. Can anyone out there help her? Or do you have a good reason (as i do) for why she shouldnt conjure one at all? Thanks for any help you can give her!

Oh, and just for refrence, i do not think that a Genie is something to mess with, i mostly think of them as fokelore, and if they do exist, so be it, but im not messing with it.

Well, the only way that you are going to see a Genie is:
Go to blockbuster, and rent "I dream of Ginny", "Aladdin" and "Simbad".
Other than that, there is no way, although I have an old tin lamp, if you care you can borrow it, as long as you return it shiny as gold

1. Genies do not exist.
2. There are evil genies.
3. Even good genies would have their own agenda.
4. Using magic can cause a person to misinterpret normal events and blow them all out of proportion. If you've ever spent a day watching for a tall, dark stranger, you know what I'm talking about.
5. Summoning genies takes time and energy away from doing the work necessary to actually make wishes become reality.

Don't. Be. Fukking. Stupid.
There are beings in the astral worlds that are beyond the strongest mages powers to controll. Let alone an amateur. Even closed (not creating a portal into our dimension) communications, like an Ouija board, are very dangerous should you come across a powerfull entity. They will attach themselves to her (or anybody present for that matter) on an energy level (dimension) and she will suffer greatly for it. Djinn are not nice beings. Nothing good can come of it.
Tell your friend to drop it, she will regret it. Just by her wanting it they are already clammering around her in the hope she finds a way to open a portal. You/ she don't want that type of attention. The longer she stays with this you will be able to see changes in her and her daily behaviour as they gain a stronger hold. If she won't drop it stay away from her.
Watch the movie the Wishmaster for a hollywood representation of what can happen.

I would reconsider if I were you?
Look at it this way. What would happen if some dude at a football game got up out of the stands and threw on some gear then hit the field.....? He would get is *** stomped.
You need to know what you are doing before you go messing around with the jinn. They are not just angels or demons, forget the Keys of Solomon. If you look closely at Middle Eastern Lore, you will notice the jinn were consider to be a race of beings that inhabited earth before man...a race that possesed free will. That in itself should be a gigantic frigging WARNING sign.
You are going to do what you are going to do, reguardless of what anyone tells you on here or anywhere else. So if you insist, at least do it right, know what you are doing before you dive head first into dark water.

Conjure up a copy of Bedazzled for your friend. Have her watch it and realize you get nothing for nothing. If you can't get what you want by regular means (like, y'know, beg, borrow, buy, or barter) then you obviously don't need it. If you truly needed it, the universe would somehow get it to you or you would figure out a way to get it. But usually, what you want isn't what you need. So give up on the idea of conjuring up some entity who will grant you wishes. Either give up the desire for what you want or figure out a way to get it that doesn't involve magic lamps and bad Disney movies.

Genie's are magical creatures that have already been captured and placed in a container until someone find them and rubs the container which will release the genie.you get three wishes .but be careful of both your wishes and the genie they will try and trick you into taking their place in the container. they are not for amateurs to play around with . just like leprechauns they are older and wiser than you and can twist your mind until you make a big mistake and loose everthing.

Never call up what you are unable to put down. Crowley called up what might be called a genie and was almost drowned in the sand that filled the circle.
Magick is not for the untrained amateurs. The watchers at the gates eat souls for breakfast.
Tell her to find another pathway and that things she finds in books are often incomplete traps.

Go to the Middle East and go to a beach. Kick around for a while till you find an old lamp. Rub it three times while saying "Alaam ka shikum mukhis ak maala".
Okay, if you believe in genies then wait for Santa Claus to arrive. He might bring you one.

i doubt that genies really exist
but I've heard from those believers that genies would do anything to get out of wherever they are trapped in
even harming countless of people
