how do you think a skirt looks over jeans? short or like right above the knees?

Hmmm.... I think its awesome to experiment around though not everyone can pull it off. the jeans need be very tight, almost like leggings. the skirt should be maximum a palm above knee level and a very simple top. I had a gf wearing it b4 and its quite nice. If you choose to layer bottom half, first half should be very simple and minimal and vice versa.

Depends, I wore it to the mall the other day on a dare...
I've seen some girls pull it off with a thin, sheer ballet skirt that wraps around and ties(I'm not so sure if its considered a skirt though), and with mini skirts at ice skating rinks (you don't get cold but you still get that twirl of the skirt when you spin). It CANOT be pulled off with a pencil skirt but possibly with somthing with ruffles. Good luck...

listen, you need to decide what you like and make your own fashion statement instead of following along like a sheep. If you want to wear this then go for it, being confident about your look will make you appear more attractive. There is a stall in one of the markets that I go to every weekend that sells skirts made especially to go over jeans, they are wrap around and the girl who makes and sells them looks great with hers on, she wears bootlegs and she looks very individual.

I think it would look awful either way. A filmy skirt over tights can sometimes look okay, but skirt over jeans? Never!

ya know, if the skirt isn't tight and the jeans are, I think it looks good but you need to be on the "skinny" side for it to work right.

Only if you wish to look like a gypsy - - - the only time that I have seen it work was when it was those shorts so short they are panties and the skirt was blood red leather. Peace.

I don't get it. Wear a skirt or wear jeans, what's the point of both? Maybe if you want a bigger hip. I don't know. :p

agree with kelly. but did see some girls wear a short dress over jeans. they look good, but only if they are really tall.
