Why wait for C & D to catch up to Ford.

Go for a Muscle Car now , while you can still afford the fuel.

Neither. Detroit's reprise of the muscle car days is a misguided attempt to reinvigorate interest in the U.S. brands.

But the modern consumer wants reliability, quality manufacture, and fuel efficiency. This is why Toyota and Honda have been eating Detroit's lunch recently. Detroit needs to come to grips with this fact and figure out how to make its cars better.

Bringing back the muscle cars in the era of $3+/gallon gasoline is just dumb.
