Let's give a time too - like 100 years in the past or future, 200 years, etc.

30 years in the past with the knowledge of what companies to invest in (AOL, Microsoft) I do not know the future so i cant be jealous of it; theres nothing that says its better than the present. I know what happens presently or in the recent past so I can brace for it if I lived farther back in time.

The past, not because I know there will be a future. But what if the end of the world is near? Well I have to be ready any time for that but also if I am time traveling and I bring my cellphones, and my radio then I can show everybody in the past. Also I can meet Walt Disney...I don't know why but I enjoyed Pirates Of The Carribean. And when I show everyone the cool stuff they will all elect me as president, and I will be president for a long time and Gearge Bush will never rule! AHAHA!

Definitely the past. Can you picture a future that is less cluttered and croweded than what we have right now? Futuristic images of a clean, sanitized world are probably wrong. Think twelve billion people...

I'm at the time in life where the odds say there's more past than there is future so I'd tend to say in the past.

I'm content where I am in the present. I can't change the past and I can't control the future but I can handle today just fine.

totally in the past. i would wan to grow up in the 30's. during the depression i know it sounds bad but so many things were going on and to be able to talk about it would be kinda neat. i love hearing my grandma's stories of that time
