I believe they are doing the best they can do considering they are on the border of Af. and have such a large population of muslims. Do you have a source or proof to prove otherwise?

Pakistan has a two faced approach to terrorism. They are actively working against the Al Qaida and similar outfits that are on the American hit list. On the other hand they have a go easy policy on the Taliban and the Kashmiri outfits. Supporting the American requirements means that Pakistan recieves financial aid to sustain its economy and military aid to sufficient to make their generals confident of tackling India.

Dear friend... it is the USA (the empire) that funds terrorism and then also sets out to fight it. Today the target is the Muslim world and Korea tomorrow it will be India. Don't ever live in the is pipe dream that India will be spared. The best hope for the x colonised people of the world is to unite and call the bluff and learn to live peacefully among each other without getting instigated and used by the colonial power/s.
I hope you understand the way imperialism is working.

Just as the majority of Europeans favor appeasement, the majority of Pakistanis favor support for the terrorists.
In both situations, governments need to act with care if they are to be of any help at all to the victims of terror.
As with crime of all sorts, we seem to have a tendency to blame the victim.
And those politicians at home who claim the most to be fighting terror are, in reality using the threat as a means to feather their own nest and those of their cronies. Rather than doing anything sensible. It is easier to dismantle human and constitutional rights than to develop a real intelligence network.
I remember once, many years ago, when I had contacts in a denied area and provided information through my employment channels a CIA officer came to me and asked how I did it, and expressed the wish that he could do similarly.
That he hadn't a clue showed the dimension of the problem. It's 25 years later and nothing has changed except the technololgy.

The leader of Pakistan is helping, but his hold on power is very delicate. Like Anwar Sadat of Egypt, he too could be murdered by Islamic fanatics. Those that hate the USA want to call him a puppet, but the fact is, Islamic fanatical killers are a threat to many peoples lives. Those that worship the devil do not want to see the truth. Pakistan has areas where the government does not control and it is filled with people who support terrorists. Now that Pakistan has nuclear weapons, the eventual death of the dictator will mean, one more thing to worry about.

Pakistan has been the two stable and not so stable. there is only lots they'll do. do no longer forget approximately Islam continues to be the main customary faith in Pakistan and their Politics rather are available to play. How lots capability does President Musharraf have. he's now announcing he became into forced into cooperating with the U. S. as a results of fact Richard Armtage advised him," in the event that they did no longer cooperate, we would bomb the hell out of Pakistan".

No,
thier leader is lucky his people havent overthrown him for working with the U.S.
What is interesting is how our relationship with India is in spite of the new neccesity to tolerate Pakistan and how this will effect our stance on Casmier in the future.
i am sure there is some under the table deals going on. i just am not sure what, nobody puts out their neck for free especially in pakistan where the people want you gone.
i wouldn't be surprised if we have to lliberate Pakistan in 10 years because of WMD's....or whatever.
