H.M. King Bhumibol Rama IX of Thailand

Photos on the site, see the source.

This king is a great man. My brother had the pleasure of meeting him, when my brother went to Thailand to be married.

In 1973 some students were protesting the government, and the army was sent to stop the protest. The king opened the gates of the royal palace to give the students refuge. He then made the general in charge of the government crawl before the king to beg forgiveness for attacking his own people.
